Hello, I’m Mohamad Shahin, owner and operator of locally based M.I.S. Construction. I am a long-time resident of the Sacramento area, working in the construction industry for over 20 years. I started in the trade in 2004 as a contractor working on various jobs secured by larger companies. At that time, most of my experience came from rehabilitating real estate investment properties and doing home renovations. Although, a variety of other projects were sprinkled in as well.

While working for others gave me valuable experience, over the years I realized that some of the business practices and lack of customer inclusion didn’t align with how I feel a business should be run. As a result, in 2007, I started M.I.S. Construction. My primary focus is on my customers. I want to make sure their jobs are done with a level of quality I find to be lacking with other companies. No shortcuts, just high quality work.

Unquestionably, renovating, adding onto or building a home can be a stressful and overwhelming process. A customer’s emotional and financial investment into their project is immense, so it is important to find a trustworthy construction partner who understands that investment. M.I.S. Construction is dedicated to making the process smooth and comfortable for all parties involved. Communication is key. Our goal is to set clear expectations and keep customers in the loop at every stage of the project.
